It was bound to happen. I have a bad case of LinkedIn Fever.
Back a few years ago, I got one or two invitations to connect to LinkedIn, but it was far and few between. Over the last six months, however, the number of invitations has increased for all of us here. And that means the LinkedIn network is growing. Recently, there's been an influx of third party Webinars, articles and how to's related to tapping into the power of this unique connection application for business. And boy is it ever! For example, with just my measly 73 connections so far, I'm linked to 794,000 professionals.
It's a great tool on so many levels. We've been using it to supplement intelligence gathering related to our new business development efforts. In just a week, I've reacquainted with several colleagues from over 10 years ago. And surprisingly enough all were fairly glad to hear from me. Go figure.
